The Career Ignition Program has been designed with you in mind.....
Using the Ignite program facilitated by professional coach Sandra Smart from Talent Switch, we kick off your journey of greater self-awareness, with a questionnaire that will help with discovering more about who you are - your strengths, talents, communication and leadership styles, and learning preferences.
Sandra will also talk about, and discuss weaknesses – because we all have them, and that’s OK too! The trick for anyone is knowing how to play to their strengths, and manage their weaknesses.
Once you have the foundation, you journey through several elements including discovering your ‘why’, mindset, resiliency, communication, positivity and optimism, goal attainment and more.
You’ll walk away with a clearer picture of who you are from the inside out, and how you can be the best possible self!
The team at Career Solutions will help get you ready for that job search by helping you with tips on writing your resume, so you are able to share your unique story with potential employers.
They will share with you the “do’s and don’ts” about interviewing so you can feel more confident in speaking with employers, and put your best self forward.
They have access to many tools and services that can help you in your job search and will show you how to use them.
We’ve lined up local business owners and professionals from a variety of industries to share with you what they look for in their employees – you’ll get to hear their stories and have the chance to speak with them as part of a fun and interactive forum.
We also look at the importance of customer service – a vital skill in any job – by learning how not to lose the customer with some fun role-playing.
Still feeling a bit uncomfortable about interviews – what to wear/not wear, answering interview questions – don’t worry, we have you covered!
